ABOUT THE WINNER
Cindy Ramirez attends the West Potomac Academy Fashion Design Class. She is a sixteen year old junior at West Potomac High School. She was raised in a dynamic culture with Mexican and Salvadorian values and art. As a current member of the Latino Leadership Coalition, she embraces every opportunity that comes her way to build skills and experiences towards her future. Cindy is driven to find success in the fashion industry, with a special interest in event production. Working with jewelry designer, Evelyn Brooks has given her the confidence to explore a career as a designer. She brings her passion for creating unique and beautiful art to the Jewelry Challenge with her one of a kind jewelry design. Her inspiration was found in nature which is conveyed by the flowing shapes within her WPA logo design.
