West Potomac Academy Fashion Students Participate in Pink Fashion Rocks Charity Event. Fashion Design students participated in Pink Fashion Rocks, to benefit breast cancer charities, on Wednesday, February 24, at 6:30 p.m. at Long View Gallery in Washington, D.C. The student garments were selected for the runway show and will be featured alongside garments from designers such as Betsey Johnson. Students will also work backstage with models, assembling swag bags, and assisting with show production.

Each participating fashion designer has created signature garments, ranging from accessories to couture fashion, all in hot pink. Immediately following the runway and live music show, the garments will be sold in a silent auction. Net proceeds will benefit Pink Jams!, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, and the DC Fashion Foundation. The event is sponsored by Pink Jams! and the Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Commerce. Maggy Francois was part of host committee & the fashion event producer for Pink Fashion Rocks.
