West Potomac Academy is proud to announce that our very own Alexis Foreman, Fashion Design level 1 has been chosen to be on Seventeen Magazine Style Council 2010. Alexis will act as fashion editor/style that will inspire Seventeen magazines 13 MILLION readers. The stories that she will be involved in over the next year will show readers all about her style and in some stories how to get her style in attainable affordable ways and working with you on various projects and photo shoots. Alexis will serve as their inspiration. This is very exciting stuff and a great opportunity for the fashion design department. On November 21st, Alexis flew to New York City for her first photo shoot and to prepare for her first story will that feature all 10 Seventeen Magazine Style Council girls from all over the world. This is an amazing honor and requires a huge commitment and will be an amazing experience for Alexis to be part of an incredible magazine that has a readership base of 13 million readers! Congratulations to Alexis Foreman of WPA Fashion Design Department. We are confident she will bring a fancy flair, personal style and fashion knowledge to every article we read. Don’t forget to pick up the March 2010 issue to see Alexis. (Pages 45-53) Seventeen Seventeen is the number one magazine for teenage girls.
